Town of Gawler Council
As a young person who lives, works and is a part of the Gawler community, it is an honour to serve as Councillor for the Town of Gawler.
Who Am I?

I produce and present my own television program, Off the Couch with Ethan, a show all about trying to get young people and their families “off the couch” and into the great outdoors, to see all the amazing places Australia has to offer. Having graduated from Xavier College in 2020, I am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Film and Television and working as the Digital Content Producer for the History Trust of South Australia.
I absolutely love the Gawler community, and am involved in numerous local community organisations including:

-
Umpire with the Barossa, Light & Gawler Umpires Association
-
Committee Member of Cancer Council’s Gawler Relay for Life
-
Compere of the Gawler Show
-
Compere of APEX's Gawler Christmas Carols
In 2019 and 2022, I was honoured to be named the Town of Gawler’s Young Citizen of the Year.

In the November 2022 Local Government Elections, I was elected to the position of Councillor for the Town of Gawler. On 22 November, I was officially sworn in, and now have the privilege to serve this community I care so much for.
What Do I Stand For?
TOURISM
Increase tourism opportunities, to boost our local economy and improve our community for visitors and ratepayers.
YOUTH
Further develop facilities and activities for young people, including after-school and school holiday Council-led programs, as well as ensuring family play spaces are maintained, upgraded and remain safe.
COMMUNITY
Ensure clubs, associations, sporting groups, small business and volunteer-based organisations are supported, to provide growth and sustainability.
